I got the same answer but I used algebra. Does that make me dumber or smarter?

13/x = 75/100

75x = 1300

x = 17.33 (total volume)

x/4 = 4.33 (total perlite)
That's what it is. Algebra. My favorite. I was a math tutor at NSU when I went there. My main computer science teacher and my statistics teacher both asked me to host a extra help session. But it was the same $ I'd get just chillin waiting for someone to want help. I spent a lot of time roaming around too if I didn't have appointments.

13 total liters 25% is 3.25 or 16.5 liters total?
25% of 16.25 is 4.125

It's 17.33 total liters after you add the perlite to the other 13L you already measured out.

Nice, gotta love those hurry up and wait jobs. That's quite how it is in the live entertainment world too. I love me some algebra. I'll be honest, looking at the way @Hairybuds did it kinda made my head hurt, but goes to show that there's more than one way to get to the finish line.
