So im gonna try the autopot system, my question is what medium to use?? Ive been growing with dwc last 3 or 4 years and have had enough of res changes ph issues and so on. Most reaserch ive done leans towards coco/perlite but the dude at the hydro shop reckons that 50/50 perlite and vermiculite does a better job. Do any of you growers out there know which one is better. My goal is a bit less time in the garden with still good yeilds .

I would go with coco perlite, I'm sure the rest of the fellas would agree

Coco with perlite is one soiless option. Lots of folks, here on RIU and on other boards, have all had good results growing in coco.

Pro Mix is another - a mix of sphagnum peat moss, perlite, calcitic and dolomitic lime for pH buffering and mycorrizhal fungi. I am on my second grow with straight Pro Mix HP in 5 gallon buckets and I have had great results.

I switched to pro-mix 6 cycles ago, never going back.

I bought my last bag of FF in 2011. After one bale of Pro Mix I never considered FF again. Sunshine #4 is also excellent.

i use cocoloco, and with my Cherry Wine CBDplant, i havent feed it anything but calmag, and recharge 2 times. This is day 48 from seed, 18 days since 12/12 flip.

Im astonished with the growth without nutes at this point,

I use perlite it's really great!
