soiless mix

Hey guys this is my first grow. I've stolen as many seeds i can from friends of mine, nothing special just regular indica dark green herb. And I'm growing outdoors in the Florida sun, where we don't really have seasons, its just either hot or not so hot .

Half of my seeds are really old and so far with germination only 2 of have sprouted perfectly out of about 30 so far, but i am trying different methods out. I've just been using a damp paper towel sealed inside a small plastic bag. But i just read somewhere that older seeds should just be soaked in water for 24 hours until they sink to the bottom of the jar or glass of water. Any advice on this is welcome please. I am keeping them in my attic which is insanely humid and hot during the day and pitch black 24/7. Even at night its warm(Florida).

Anyway i have planted the first seed that cracked already in a mini greenhouse with starter seed soil(peat moss and perlite with 1% lime).

Since i haven't really seen anyone ever talk about the mini greenhouses for seed starting here is a link to one.

But anyway back to my question. In a few days it seems I'll be needing to move my seedlings into their final soil.

I've gone with a custom mix of the following and I'm using 1 gallon pots:

1. Vermiculite: I'm using this instead of perlite because all i can find is MG perlite and it says on the bag that it is enhanced with MG fertilizer(same with MG peat moss).

2. Sphagnum Peat moss

3. Blood meal

4. Bone meal

5. Dolomite lime: For ph balance.

6. Magnesium powder

What i am asking is some thoughts on what my ratios should be with each of these ingredients for a 1 gallon pot. ANY thoughts are welcome!

By the way I'm using natural water coming from a small stream near by.

Also i figure since i have organic fertilizer in the mix, i figure i shouldn't need to use other fertilizer for a few weeks right?

I soak all my seed. then into seedling soil. If your using the baggie method I would just put them in a dark place around 70-80. I use one tsp of garden lime per 1 gal of coco blend. It's a little diff then what you have And I'm not sure what 1% would work out to. Just a fyi was chatting with a guy doing a moss grow he gave up so good luck. I think he was saying he has having ph problems with his.
