So I have been growing for a while and have been using a mix of:
2 parts oxean forest
1 part peat moss
1 part cococoir
1 part vermiculite

This has produced pretty good results but I am interested in hearing other mixes people really like and finding whats best or most popular if possible.

Also I have been transferring clones out of the cloner into fox farms light warrior which hasnt seemed like its been working out well, I will use something different for the next batch but Im not sure what... Curious to hear back what anyone else might think would be best.

I considered posting this in nutrients... Not sure if a different area would be better or not.

Try HF ( Happy Frog ) for your early starts and clones.

In this video, budzilla uses happy frog for seedling/early stage of veg life, then switches to ocean forest/happy frog 50/50 mix when transplanting.

Personally I am familiar to hydroponics but that was 10 years ago and haven't grown since. Fortunately enough, there's an abundance of information on cannabis cultivation now that a lot of places have started legalizing it. So my green thumbs been itching!!!

I would love to know how that mix you have works for you as I don't think I'll be doing hydroponics this round. Do you add any extra nutrients other than your mix or do you just use tap water when feeding? Any pics? Yeilds?

I do my own mix. Roughly 20 gallons of mushroom compost, 10 gallons of Sungrow potting soil, 5 gallons of peat moss, 2 1/2 gallons of course vermiculite. Then lesser amounts of coffee ground compost, chicken manure compost, lime, blood and bone meal, fine vermiculite, Epson salts, Holly-Tone organic ferts, gypsum, soil acidifier and a few more I can't think of at the moment.
