Solar Power Experiment

So I would really like some help on building cheap solar panels, and what ever else I need. I know some stuff but I still think it's very confusing. Im not an electrician just a handy man... well more like handy women.

Has anyone had any experiance building their own.

I'm trying to go green while growing my own green so any help would really be appreciated.

I would really like to use common found materials that you can find in any stores, found in the house, or items that can be reused from other items that most people throw away.

Here are some sites that I have found
But none really tell you how to build your own out of common materials you can find pretty much anywhere

Database of state incentives for renewables and efficency (seems like alot of tax exempts and discounts)

Better if available to use a company like "Solar City" where there's no money up front. You lease the solar cells and can easily cancel out 4-8k watts of bulbs. Out in Cali it's super cost efficient to go that route.

wow that does sound very efficent. Im going to see if they have something like that in my area. I actaully have never heard of leasing out cells with no money up front. seems like a really good idea. thanks man

http://www.solarcity.com will lease to you, but they put a lien on your house for 20 years, as the Solar Panels are attached to your house, they MAY last 30 years (will never happen).

How much power do you want to make and where do you live?

You can do it yourself! Try googling this "solar energy guerrilla".

It's not that hard, but there are a lot of factors to consider.
