Soldering iron guys?

Are your pipes NOTICABLY cleaner after using the soldering iron?

I used a glass bong yesterday that normally gets really dark brown / black resin in the downtube and significant resin accumulation in the water chamber after only a few hits with a lighter.

I had my buddy over and we smoked atleast 6 full bowls and the downtube is cleaner now then it would be after one hit with a lighter. The chamber has a really light brown resin that is nothing close to what it normally would look like.

And it tastes better too.

Are you just using a ceramic iron. Ifthey arent butane then are they automatically ceramic? How do i know which one to get.

ya my friend says I need a hakko cermic soldering iron, but them tings is atleast 50$..

I searched for ceramic soldering iron on ebay and found some 25W,30W, and 40W for no more than 10$!!! (all with detachable tips)

advice pls I want the best flav and the dense rips!!

Cant help you with ebay - I am not an expert in these things. I can show you what works for me.

When you plug it into the wall it is only 20W. It gets hot but doesnt glow red. It just stays warm. There is a yellow button on the side and when you push it it turns into 130W and is glowing red in 10 seconds.

is that a ceramic one, or is it someting else entirely? Idk much about these tings ether

all i've eared is that I shuld get one with a ceramic bc it is the hottest temperature or heats evenly??

does anyone know someting about this?

Yeah - it is ceramic. You unscrew the metal tip and expose the ceremic heating element.
