Solo Leds. Anyone have any experience?

So I'm in the market for some new leds. But I don't want to spend a fortune. I've used the Advanced Led XML diamond series in the past. Really good results in veg and pretty good results in flowering. But I went back to HPS for more lumens. I'm currently using a 600w solis tek hood ballast and bulb. It's working great but the heat is an issue and so is the electric bill.

Anyway seeing as how technology has improved and leds are becoming more potent I'm looking to buy a new one.

Been looking at the area 51, Optic lighting and Apache. Looking for lights with cobs crees bridgelux diodes etc.

I've recently come across some chinese leds. They seem to dot all the I's. But I've read no reviews yet. The prices are whole sale and cheap.

Anybody have any thoughts or advice. Btw. I don't want to spend more than $1-1.5 per watt. I think anything more is a ripoff.

This one has Actual Watts Drawn from Wall shown in power up videos -
These also show Removeable Glass Lens for the COBS .
It draws an impressive 595 watts from the wall at 5.14 amps ( full spectrum - All on )

The footprint is 4x4 with up to lumen output ( near 76000 lumens )

Depends on the quantity. The 600w was 550 if you buy 1-4 units plus shipping. Send them an email and they will send you a full price list.

specs look good but unfortunately i think I'm gonna go the diy route. I can buy 5 cobs for that price.

DIY is the way to go if you can navigate everything.

The company seems legit. And thanks for the well wishes. I only said unfortunately becaus it would be my first diy and I hope it all comes out well enough. I'll definitely post my build when I'm done. Just hope no one laughs. I'm a complete newb. Sorry.

I'm in the same boat, Ive always been a HPS guy, now looking to build my own COB system eventually. Theres all sorts of levels of build finishes from ugly to damn right beautiful. But mostly they all seem to grow cracking weed with great yields. Cant see anyone in the DIY threads laughing at anyone else's efforts.
