Agreed with frmboi. Leaves will fall off when they are dead and no longer useful but when it is budding it sometimes helps to tuck fan leaves back and possibly tie them to increase light penetration on the inner part of your plant. Good Luck

They look a little over watered. Lollipopping wouldn't hurt, try to get some light to the nodes. Other than that, i don't see any problems.

thanks for the advice but what do u mean by tucking the fan leaves, am not sure what u mean and what do u mean by lollipopping. I feed them every 2 days with 2 litres of water with nuetrients, there in 10 litre pots and under a 600 wat light. so am best not to trim them

dont trim and the bigger fan leaves if they are blocking bud sites can just be tucked behind to let line shine in.

Don't trim them. I had really bushy plants like that and I put them in flower as such. I am happy I did. Wait until the plant is slowing down its stretch and then reevaluate. Also don't water them until a moisture meter says to, the last thing you need is a plant getting stressed due to over watering causing it to hermie in flower. Don't water on a schedule, water by necessity. You may want to think about flushing your plants prior to flowering if you are feeding with every water as well.

By lollipopping i mean picking off some of the leaves blocking light to the stem, or you could bend them outwards so theyre out of the way(i prefer lollipopping a couple leaves seeing as most of them will just grow to the same spot if they aren't tied down). But be careful when bending, if you dont massage the stem and slowly bend them they will snap. Especially if they are weak and don't have a fan running on them. And whenever i water, i flood them so their roots can expand more(i usually stop whenever i see a good amount of water runoff from the holes in the bottom). Watering too many times can cause the leaves to look droopy and could also result in a poor root system, but if you keep em dry and water about 2-3 times a week they'll look healthy. And as far as lights go, you look like your doing fine. If i were you though id switch to 12/12 light period seeing as they double or triple in size during flowering.

thanks for the advice, i will tuck back the leaves, and av allready put them into a 12/12 light cycle. i have a fan blasting them, my light is only about a foot away from the plants but the fan is blasting the light so there is no heat coming off the light and there is another fan at the very bottom of the tent to circlate the air. i have flushed them aswell, i put them in the bath and just ran the water over them and cleaned the trays that they sit in, i was watering them every 2 days without fail but i was giving them a litre of water then the last week av bin giving them 2 litres of water so i will cut it back down to 1 litre.

thanks to all for the advice

As for the amount of watering, you should water until you have a good runoff from each pot. When I was still in Foxfarm Ocean Forest, I used to water only when my meter indicated I was dry since the surface appearance will fool the gardener.

As for pruning, I remove fans that are sick looking or totally in the shade. Good Luck!

I wouldn't cut back on the amount of water that you use during each watering, just water them less often. Only when needed.
