eh fellas.. back again for a 2nd one.. ran into a slight problem though.. i think..

i got some white widow seeds from the net and everything was going good.. until about the 4 week of flower, i noticed that the hairs on the top cola are very small, and nearly non existant. the rest of the plant is progressing quite nice..

i checked for burnt hairs from the lights being too close but nothing..
oh and also it looks likes theirs tons of leaves bursting out the side of the top cola.. is that okay?

if someone could help me out id really appreciate it..

cheers

Looking good.
Doesn't look to be really an issue. Plants look Good and Healthy.
Sometimes the top of the main cola can look as if the pitels are smaller or as you put it non existant... main stem has more work to do ;)..... but suddenly it'll have a pistel party.
Leaves bursting..... Yes this is exaclty what should be happening.
My Afrodite works just that way as do many strains.
This is assuming light ain't to close

Everything looks up to par.

I've noticed when i have my HPS too close, the top(s) of my my cola's become dry and my hairs are about 1/2 the size of the rest of the plants hairs.
Do a quick touch test with clean hands, and feel for resin amounts on lower budding sites compared to your top site. If your top cola(s) feel more dry then say the rest, back off your light, and see if it improves :leaf:

ahh alrighty guys,
thanks again

i just was scared that it was going hermie on me or something :/

just for the records tho, what are the signs that a plant has hermied itself during flowering?

oh and heres one of the entire plant. obviously im using cfl's, but on this one i decided to start budding my ladies much earlier then the last bunch( got way too big for the cfl's to handle) . would that have anything to do with the cola taking longer to get hairs?

eh broha,

im not the most experianced grower out there so taking my advice might be a little sketchy haa

but anyways im using 2 65watt cfl's and 3 45 watters.. i just set them up so they surround the entire plant and keep em a couple inches away..

just keep your plants short and you shouldnt have a problem with cfls. my last grow, i went into it with zero knowledge about growing, and decided to veg them until they were about 4 feet... big mistakeeeee.. keep them around 3 feet so that you can get significant light everywhere on the plant, rather then just the tops..

this one is a bathtub grow, and my girls arent much taller then that. so far so good, ill keep updating tho..

just worried about that cola :wall:
