Some Deep Cough and a room full of OG and Sour OG (Organic)

I just started this thread because someone pm'd me about ph and I wanted to show that if you buffer your soil properly you won't need to adjust the ph in your nutrient solution. These pics are from Day 30 of 12/12.

I just use Guano teas and every now and then use a little Bio Canna. I top dressed with Fast acting lime to deal with any ph issues and things work out great.

Lime constantly fights to bring your medium to a neutral ph, in soil you don't need precise ph like you do in hydro. The fast acting lime just seems to work better due to the time constraints on indoor plants. If you're going to build your soil and let it sit for about a month dolomite lime works great but it takes time to be effective whereas the fast acting lime will correct ph problems in about a week.

I checked my growing pantry and I have several different types of guano and some garden lime. But you specifically stated "fast acting lime", so I guess that means I need to get some fast acting lime. I plan to build up my growing medium and will be using FF nutes (which I think is organic) along with FFOF and ProMix4. This info is right on time since I am preparing for my "real grow". My current grow is what I call my "Pregrow", learning and eliminating minor problems before I start my real grow. Suggestions are welcomed. :leaf::leaf::leaf:

The only fert from fox farm that is 100% organic is Big Bloom. I like to build my soil and incorporate the lime early so it has time to take effect but I didn't have the time to build my soil this time so I topped dressed with the fast acting lime. It all depends on your method. The fast acting lime is more for people who don't build their soil and start having ph issues. If you have time I highly recommend you look up Subcool's Soil mix. It takes 30 days to bake but you can use plain water throughout the entire grow with phenomenal results.

So what I have I will use because I have not started to build my soil yet. :leaf::leaf::leaf:

You should be fine. But if you run into ph problems while growing in soil I highly recommend getting some fast acting lime rather than ph'ing your nutrient solution.

just leave the
FFOF alone, its fine just the way it is:wink:

Can you please clarify the BioCanna product you like to use?

I use Bio flores in small amounts just because there is too much sugar in it and is only beneficial as a supplement to my teas.

They're talking about amending there soil with guanos and other fertilizers and if you do this you need to buffer your soil or else it will be highly acidic.

Just in flower, I only use tea in veg because I only veg for around a month and the soil has enough nutrients to maintain healthy growth. I do use mainly Peruvian Seabird Guano with just a little Jamaican and Indonesian bat guano in my veg tea. Seabird guano is the shit.

Sounds so exotic lol. I've been procrastinating on making teas for awhile now, its time to get off my ass. Doit doit doit.
