These are some pictures I took of our not quite ready buds. Hope you like looking at them - I do. This is our first grow, but we're having fun. So far so good. We've made it to nearly the end: we have 2 plants with great looking buds for our personal use. What more could we want? :weed::

Nice pictures, I think many wants to know what strain is it?
lol - I wish I knew. All I know is that they are from some excellent weed that we saved some bag seeds from. If anyone can help me identify it, that would be stupendous. Here are a couple of other pics with more of the bud and plants included.:leaf:

They look like sativa to me, but could be a sativa/indica mix. Other than that I'm clueless.

Cool... I wish I could get that close -- my girl is turning out amber trichs at 35 days already, and no one will believe me!

Here is a link of some EXTREME CLOSE UP shot of seed growing thread I made in the past.

those are very cool. there's something so fascinating about being able to see something you can't see with the naked eye; it's like there's a whole other universe taking place under our noses.

I took my pics with a Nikon 640 coolpix on macro setting and then cropped very close. I didn't use a tripod but they would have been even sharper if I had.

Cool man, looks like you got some healthy happy plants there. Just remember when you think you're ready to chop it down, give it another week!

And I know what you mean about seeing that whole other world under our noses. My wife is into photography, and she's big on taking nature pics, really up close. You should see some of the stuff she captures.....its amazing how she sees it in the first place to take a pic of it lol. She's particularly fond of water/dew droplets and frost. :blsmoke:

thanks for the encouragement and the add one week advice; And I am actually a woman, not a man, but it seems everyone is a "dude" these days. I like photography a lot too esp. macro. I'll have to try the frost on macro; hadn't thought of it - been too busy taking pix of the plants

the key to up close photography is using the macro setting on your camera - most have them and a steady hand or better yet, a tripod. Also, when you download them to your computer, cropping in close. It's also hard to tell color of trichs if the color balance is off - do you have a program that deals with images? If so, try to get the color to be what you see with your eye, not what the camera is picking up from the lighting. I looked at your grow journal and it looks awesome.
