Some leaf tips going yellow. help!

It's about 43 days since I planted my seedling. I used 16 watt CFL for growing. I know I should use MH lamp or something that has light temperature of 6400K. That lamp has 2700K, but I have heard that you can grow your plant with that lamp, although yield won't be as big as with right lamp for veg stage. So my problem is right now that some leaf went yellow and drew twist. also lower leaves don't wanna stay up and fall downwards. I am using fertilizer(6:1:3)added to water. I am not sure if my plant has some kind of deficiency and I wanted to know this stuff from you. Oh and btw my plant is OG kush(feminized). Also my soil seems to be moist kinda long(5 days and more). Plant is 18 cm right now, grown in my own made growbox, having silver paper every side. I am having PC fan also, that keeps airflow inside and I have holes in box for outer air to come in if needed. Temperature is 25°C inside. Seems to be same at night and daytime. I know at night it should lower, but I don't know how should I do it. I have topped my plant once.

Your light will work perfectly. It will take up to 2 weeks longer for them to finish but you will be fine. The blanched tips indicate nute burn from Nitrogen.

Looks pretty over watered my friend. And if your growing with one 16 w cfl then you are wasting your time. Not trying to be rude but it will probably die from lack of light or the leaves will fall off because there isn't sufficient light to run the plant so itll try and eliminate extra foliage. You can get more cfls. They make big ole 100 w ones that will grow your plant. And the over watering or underwatering (both look the same) is the only thing thatll make the plant droop like that. Make sure your letting the container dry out between waterings.

well I just changed my lights like 2 days ago to two 7watts led lights, seems much more brighter.

Ya looking again id say it looks more like under watered than over watered. Lift the pot. Is it light? If it is light or your finger pushed in the soil feels no moisture then water it, itll spring back up in a half our or so.

No, 7 watt led bulbs are just as useless as 13s or 16s or whatever you had before. You need some watts in there. You want to find the biggest cfls you can find. 60w, 125w, minimum 26w but if your going to get 26s then get like three. Watts = weight. 7w leds will yield you like three grams or less. Promise. Get some big bulbs or your wasting your time.

I am a bit scared that high wattage lamps will rise my parents electricity bill up

When theyre dry it happens. Ive walked into grow rooms where the grower has forgotten to water 24 hrs past when he should and all the plants look like they have given up on life. All the leaves and branches HANG straight down and leaves shrivel. They will bounce back from underwatering like that, but the leaves will come back with damage. When you end up getting more lights, more plants, and do this for a while your bound to forget to water once or twice. Youll open the door and go oh shit! Just try to make sure once you flower you dont forget in flower. If you got any questions just write @Alienwidow and ill try and help ya out whenever i jump back on.

But wait for Heartland Hank to confirm since that jive turkey says I know zilch.

kushcoma420, when I see what you're seeing I usually calibrate my pH pen. I have some in flower right now doing something similar and its 'cuz I locked out P&K with jacked off pH. pH got jacked off because of some fucking brown algae growing on the inside plastic of my pH pen. And like Alien said, looks a pretty well hydrated. Also, not seeing any perlite in that soil, if the soil is dense then you'll have to be extra careful not to overwater because dense soil gets packed over time where-as a nice mix of perlite will help keep compaction minimized.

HA . . . you said pH.

I have been attacked numerous times for asking about pH lately by people you would think should know better. Glad to hear you ask instead of me. Pot MUST have air and water. They will even sprout in total darkness before they need light but can't do at all with the first 2. It is the most basic two and both should be known quality.

I thought I would be fine without perlite. Anyways I don't have some pH pen or something to check my soil pH right now. When I first throw the soil into pot, I knew that it had 6.5 pH or something. I hope that watering didn't make it bigger

Its funny how many people think they should be sprouting seeds with a light hanging over them. Seeds sprout in the dark. Underground. Darkness is what they want to feel comfortable. I soak mine for 12 hrs, plant them in moistened seed starter mix, and then stick em in a cabinet with the door closed at 78-81 degrees for 48 hrs in the dark. 100% everytime with good seed ;)

ph is the least of your concerns right now. Id be doing lots of reading and watching youtube videos to see if you can get the basics a little better. The first plant is the hardest.

I know, right? What is it with this new round of forum lore that pH is not important for soil anymore? It's total bullshit. I mean yeah, I get it...some folks get lucky and have 8.1 (ish) pH tap water, add their nutes for a nice round 6.2/6.4 (ish) pH into the pot and start spouting..."I never pH my water, I don't have to because soil does the buffering and for me" when in reality they are just getting lucky and landing in the zone. I challenge any one of those non-pHing-soil-watering-blindly dipshits to dump 4.5 pH'ed water into their pot and see what happens after 2 or 3 watering's. Plants will be cashed the f- out!!
