Some one said once your girls reach 2 feet go ahead in switch them to 12/12 please give your input why this is a good idea or why this a bad idea

Well it wouldn't be too good if you have a sativa that stretches three times it height during flowering and you only have a 6 foot tall tent.

This ^ Your plants will grow from anywhere to 2x (indicas) their size to 3x ( some hybrids) or even more 4x+ (pure sativas). It all depends on the size of your grow area...

Look man its real simple, flower the plant when it is about 1/3 of the total desired height of the plant at harvest. You account for how tall you want them to be and follow that method and u should be good. Good Luck and Happy Smoking

All good advice.
If your not trying not to outgrow your space, when you flip depends on the size of your grow area.
Didn't we just go over this in this same forum, Midnight?
I feel like either I'm Bill Murray in Ground Hogs day, or newbs are illiterate.
