this is a feeding schedule that has been working well for me, maybe it will help you.
I also agree more light is better and ventilation is key, i currently grow in a room about the same size as yours and have been using flouro tubes and cfl's (4 4' tubes cool white and 4 cfls in warm white) just changed the lighting to a 400watt MH and have seen a great difference in the growth of my girls in just the last 10 days or so. for the vent i run a 6" inline to help bring fresh air in and I use a 2 speed 8inch 500 cfm to exhaust heat and stinks. so far it has been working well for me.
I got the feeding schedule from a friend on another forum and since i jumped to the FF nutes I can my girls have peaked up and are looking like they will produce a nice crop in the end. hope this helps.
Pre
Big Buddy’s Feeding Schedule:
edited to add: I also run a twin window type fan low blowing through the branches of my plants, this helps to build nice thick branches as it forces the plant to bulk up to become more stable.when i got my this plant that i started with it was extremely stressed and stretched almost beyond saving but with some careful work it came back strong and healthy and gave me 4 nice clones (well 3 and one in the making i hope)...good luck
The fox farm nutes are not overly intense in the veg period, that’s one thing that i notice a lot of people have trouble with is under feeding in veg. This does not mean hit her full strength right off the bat or anything, but don’t fear the feed in this stage.
No feedings at all until you reach the large containers, and have been in them for a week.
Schedule: (plants that grow very slowly at first may not need to be fed until later).
Until 1 week in 1 gal pots, no nutes.
And this is going by a feed/water - feed/water schedule: (Every other watering will be a feeding)
1st feeding:
2 tbsp big bloom
1 tsp blackstrap molasses (unsulphered)
The worst I've seen at this level is minor tip burn, and only once i think)
2nd feeding:
1.5 tsp grow big
2 tbsp big bloom
1 tsp molasses
3rd feeding:
2 tsp grow big
2 tbsp big bloom
1 tsp molasses
4th feeding:
2.5 tsp grow big
2 tbsp big bloom
1 tsp molasses.
Now I keep it at this stage in veg. unless i start to see the leaf color lighten too much, or a blotchy purpling on the stem, this is often looked at as P deficiencies, but they show up as a deep purple. The blotchy just means its using slightly more nutes than it has and it wants a little more. You can move the grow big up to 3 tsp on each feed if you want, it shouldn’t burn, but you may not need it, and this is with a flush each 2-3 weeks as well. This schedule pretty well continues until the last 1-2 feeding in veg., then I try to get some of the open sesame in, it really does get the flowers started quicker, I don’t find it makes the plants finish any faster, but you have more time for bud development, and therefore, more bud.
so for just before the switch to flower it goes like this...
Last veg feedings:
2.5, or 3 tsp grow big, whatever level your at
1 tsp molasses
1 small scoop of open sesame(the one provided in the jar, forget the measurement)
For the most part that’s not too different from the schedule that fox farm gives, its in flower that it really changes -- not much -- but still.
FLOWERING
1st feeding:
2 tsp tiger bloom
1 tsp grow big

4th feeding:

(never use more than this, this is the nutrient that they are warning about when ff say less is more, you may even want to back it off a little from this)
5th feeding to end of week 5-6
this depends on how long your strain will go for)
same as 4th feeding.
week 5/6 feeding on to start of flush:
