Some words on Autos + CFL's

This was my first grow and I went with a dummy proof method- I will adjust but considering my yields if you're a beginner and want to err on the side of caution and easiness- you can just replicate this- it could not be easier.

I got ~93 wet grams from each plant growing 5 autos under 250 watts of CFL in just under 2 months(October 11th to yesterday.) Roughly 470 grams wet. While not completely dry, it seems I'll be losing no more than 1/3 the weight to drying thanks to how sticky the strain is.

Now onto that- this is best I've ever smoked. I'm sure other strains from this site could be better, and this is my first grow. I'm only saying I've paid $20 a gram for years and this far and away blows out of the water anything I've ever bought- potency is a complete non issue.

I Have no affiliation with this company, but out of 15 seeds, 100% female, 100% germinate, 100% budding without light adjust on their automatics. Thats as close to a sure thing I've heard of. It does take about 2 weeks from delivery to the US as its coming out of central Europe.

Method:

Lights-
These were placed under 24 hour lighting for the ENTIRE DURATION. No worrying about timers, adjusting to lighting. During Veg, I stayed predominantly 6500k cfls, 9 total lights, 2 were red. When budding started, I switched the colors to predominantly 2700k cfls, keeping only my 2 largest 6500 bulbs in the 9 sockets.

Here they are during Veg.

Soil-
50% Fox Farm Ocean Forest
50% Miracle grow Perlite

Watering and nutes-
Watered 1 drinking cup every 2 days.
Did a 1/4 dose of miracle grow ONE time when plants started to flower.
That's it.
Because these plants only took 2 months full cycle, they did not run out of nutes- the ffof sustained them for the entire duration. I only added the miracle grow 1/4 dose for a "just in case" as I wanted absolutely nothing to do with nutrient burning.

Miscellaneous-
I kept 1 small fan to the left inside the close, and a humidifier to the right.

And thats it. Pretty simple right? The site list max yields on these strains at 40g. This appears to either be a very conservative estimate or the effect of 24 hours lighting on the plants is nearly double yield even after drying.

I decided I couldn't make this post without finishing pics- so depsite my fears here ya go.

thers alot of stem in tht pic.. u cant really count that as a final weight
LoL?

Go gather up all your cleaned stems. see how much it takes to make just 1 gram. It takes a pretty big pile- and at any rate that was off 1 plant, the first one which I harvested earliest. Another one yielded way over 100 grams- Both to me were shocking considering estimates I've read around for suggested 28g per plant or otherwise 1 gram per Watt. I was way over 1 gram per watt and under 2 months- though I attribute a lot of that to 24 hour lighting which has to adjust that estimate in some way.

My opinion is that the strain I'm buying is just that well done, a near perfect seed + basic care gave me the results. I'm not trying to brag, You see that I basically did nothing. There is nothing to brag about. I'm not trying to bolster my results, just giving some evidence and data that I wish I had when I started this grow.

Nice results man! If you plan on doing this again I'd love to see a journal of it. You've got me seriously considering auto's for my next grow.

I have an offline journal for this grow w/ pics, anything particular you want to know/see?
