I have read and seen pics of abused plants but the yellowing looks like a few different things.
Zinc deficiency
Nitrogen deficiency
Calcium Deficiency

I just don't know which it is. Can you please look at the pics and give me your honest opinion of its health? I'm a noob and this is my first grow ever. The yellowing has me worried. Thanks so much ya'll. You will be looking at the first 4 pics in my gallery. You can see them when they were younger too and how they have changed.

they are kinda small to really have a nutrient disorder. if you think its a nutrient def. then i call nitrogen. usually any type of pale yellowing is usually nitrogen defienceny. but who knows thats just my call. how often are you watering?

I was watering 1x per day to keep the soil wet/moist. The humidity is pretty low 50% and I have a fan directly on them to strengthen the stalks. They dry out pretty fast. They are actually sitting in rockwool inside the soil. Not sure how that affects them. I backed off the watering except today because I thought there may be some salts building up. I flushed each pot with 3 cups of pH balanced distilled water. There is now a small white line on the very edge of one of the fan leaves of the worse yellowing plant. It's about 4cm long. It's pure white and on the very edge of the leaf. What the hell is that? lol :)

Watering every day? I GUARANTEE if you stop doing that you will notice a difference in a week. The best thing to do is to let the soil dry out until it starts pulling away from the pot, then water. About every 2-3 days. Its alot easier to overwater than underwater. Trust me, just let it dry out then water. You dont need to be keeping them moist at all times, thats a bad thing. Hope that helps and ill talk to you tonight i guess.

I was assuming that the rockwool core was being sucked dry by the outlying soil as it began to dry. I'll lay off the water for a few days and see what happens. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the input man. It's appreciated. I'll send you some more pics. They are looking pretty good. Each of the strains has a bit different smell to them. The NYC Diesel stinks. I accidently brused a leaf with my finger and my finger actually smelled. She's going to be a monster.

i think i see some very early signs of mg deficiency on the newer, sativa seedlngs.

if you have epson salts it wouldn't hurt anything to water at weak strength, just in case. good luck.

Overwatering and overfeeding are probably two of the most common screwups there are and I've done both plenty of times. The great thing about RW is that it holds water by capillary action and you don't need to water it but once every 5 to 7 days.

Thanks man. I wanted to do something a bit different for my mother. Instead of having her hydropnic, I wanted her in soil. This is why I placed the rockwool inside the soil. It has made it rather difficult to water her now because the soil around it dries pretty fast in relation to the r.w. Live and learn I guess. Next time I'll just start the plants used for mothers in soil. lol Thanks again.
