Nice man, I hear those work really well...we'll see from your results too.Got the 8 tube Sun Blaze t5 setup for the clones here in a couple weeks when they root. 40,000 lumens, 432 watts...way more convenient then MH for veg...and since it has two switches I can use it at 216 watts or 432 which is nice for the power bill.
love my T5. definitely one of the best growing investmentsGot the 8 tube Sun Blaze t5 setup for the clones here in a couple weeks when they root. 40,000 lumens, 432 watts...way more convenient then MH for veg...and since it has two switches I can use it at 216 watts or 432 which is nice for the power bill.
I second that. I do the majority of my veg on a t5 432watt ballast. You can keep the plants 1-2 inches from the bulbs if you want to move it every other day. Keeps the node spacing compact.love my T5. definitely one of the best growing investments
damn thats what i wanna get for when i start my cloning & mother plant .. this has close as I'll get to using CFL's .. lol.. T5's are dopeGot the 8 tube Sun Blaze t5 setup for the clones here in a couple weeks when they root. 40,000 lumens, 432 watts...way more convenient then MH for veg...and since it has two switches I can use it at 216 watts or 432 which is nice for the power bill.

40,000 lumens beats a 400w mh should be just as good if not better.Nice man, I hear those work really well...we'll see from your results too.
Yeah, u can flower with t5 but u get airy buds... just switch some of the blubs out for 3,000k instead. Pretty good deal actually...with bulbs it was 250, no bad considering bulbs are 15 a piece and most the other ones didn't include them.Thats incredible dude!
How much did that suck out of ur wallet?
Are there fluros like that alternative to HPS for flowering? That looks immense, and the long tubes = further distributed light, ud probably need a bit more watt vs hps but surface area of light i recon it would be better and alot cooler to perfect the optimum temperature
I already like how much smaller it is, and I'm sure there's less heat.love my T5. definitely one of the best growing investments
Exactly what I'm using it for. CFL&t5 for mothers, clone and veg and 1600w hps for flowering.damn thats what i wanna get for when i start my cloning & mother plant .. this has close as I'll get to using CFL's .. lol.. T5's are dope
blow a lot of 15 amp breakers that's what lol no but seriously hoping to blow up a walkin.Sg you've been getting some pretty sick gear as of late can't wait to see what you do with it all once you finally move
Thanks man, what do u veg under? I was using the 400mh but shes a big, heavy, must be air-cooled bitch.Nice! like the vegging station bro.
Not grow in soil thinking I'm going all hydro when I move, so round 5 with likely be all 1600w hydro. If I was still using soil I would just use the ph of the tap @ 8.5 and check the runoff more often to make sure it's coming out around 6.5-7.Wow my ph also dropped to 5 with FFOF.
Almost lost everything and fast, overnight.
I used lime and flushed with higher ph water to correct this.
Damage was done though in my case.
How will you combat this in the future?
I'm thinking lime but I'm not sure yet.
Look at them rofl... waste of light flowering scraggly ass 6 foot plants like that... I'm just going to remake the mothers outta my next set of clones. The original plan was to replace the mother every few months with a new clone, but i never ended up doing it. So this is what mothers look like in about 7 months with no training & minimal care.Daymm, dem some ugly mamas! loool
Why didnt you flower them?
I had the same problem with ffof and will not touch it anymore. Overpriced crap that is not even inoculated.Soil (tent with 1k super blue)
Well my slight cal-mag deficiency turned out to be a full on ph lockout, it was down to about 5. Apparently FFOF is acidic, because I was phing all water from 8.5 to about 6.5 and watering with it... Corrected the issue after about 2 days but with the 1k the damage spread quick. I'd say something like 15% of the chlorophyll has been destroyed...not very happy about that shit but anyways the bud development looks good. The afgan is a little damaged from my damn cat nibbling on her...
