Something weird--PLease help!

Ok, so I'm growing G13's Purple Haze (feminized) from the attitude. She sprouted on 10-7 and is doing very well. Or so I thought. I'm looking her over today and notice that she is sprouting a few white hairs. I still haven't touched my lights and they are on 16 hours. My other plant Serious' AK 47 is also doing well and does not have any white hairs. I'm growing under cfl's and won't change to 12-12 until around 12-7. Could they have mixed up my seeds? Maybe I got an autoflower or something?

Pre-flowers? The plant is more than old enough to show sex, so that's my bet.

Could be. i've been growing about a year and have 4-5 grows under my belt. i've never seen pre flowers before nor have i seen the sex of a plant before switching to 12-12.

can anyone confirm?

Yes i confirm i have (My own strain i have bred) And it preflowers around 2 months or later under 24/0 so yeah that would be my bet

same thing is happening to my silver haze and phatty fruit, not worried and I will put them to flower next week. I don't think it matter's they are just preparing and showing sex. Since I run CFL's also I veg. an extra 3-4 weeks to get them as tall as possible before the stretch in flower.

ok cool. i was worried maybe they mixed up my seeds with an autoflower. never had one preflower before. now i'm a little more excited to see how she does.

Classic Pre-flower event. Some strains just show early and not something to worry about (at least you know its female ! ).

Hey Stang and Everyone - I came to the board tonite in search of the same answers. I have 4 plants, all from random seeds given to me from friends, all 6 weeks old. They are only 5" and are all in 1 quart pots. I wanted to veg for another month and transplant them to larger pots tomorrow and when I visited them today I noticed my strongest plant had 8 or so very visible pistils. I was excited and confused too, as like you Stang, have not deviated from my 18/6 lights and didn't know about preflowers. So I'm wondering is it safe to veg her for another month? OR should I move her to flower early even though she's only 5"? Thanks in advance for the input.

By the way those who are interested in Masaru Emoto, I send "love" and "health" vibes to my water every time I water the plants. Last nite I decided to starts sending "female" messages in the water and now the next day there are pistils. Maybe coincidence, but I don't really believe in those (coincidences).
