Somewhere, there is an insect with a belly full of my plant...

You see the chewed off growth on the right side of that new leaf? Any ideas what it could be? I've thoroughly, and I mean THOROUGHLY, molested my plants/environment looking for any likely candidates... to no avail. This happened my first grow as well, never severe enough to cause serious problems though. There's ZERO traces of pests, yet pest damage. I've checked all angles and area of the plants, medium, reservoir, roots, you name it. I've been running beneficials since day one too, because I've learned my lesson about the vulnerability of fresh roots. So yeah. I've got a neem oil mixture locked and loaded but I refuse to spray them if there's nothing there to begin with.

So this leaves a couple of theories:

1.) Someone plucked the leaves.

2.) A resilient little bastard of a bug latched on to someone's exterior, hitched a ride to the tent, proceeded to exit the human vehicle, and made it's way to my plant. Then after having a feast, either crawled or flew up near the extraction fan and got fucked up. There are no other exit points available, only fine-screened vents to allow fresh air intake.

This is like the "Fly" episode of Breaking Bad.

Or maybe I'm just over thinking this...
