hey again all, ive been researching many different led's in prep for my setup and the main problem that seems to keep popping up with led's is the lack of penetration during flowering wich is what the penetrator series of led's claims to achieve by using the narrower 60 degree lens but for quite a bit of money and no spectrum adjustment, SO, surely if i was going to lst or even cob than penetration need would go from 18 inches to about 8? would solve that problem surely and then the correct spectrums for flowering COULD penetrate to every juicy bit of the plant and alleviate this problem hence i could get one of the less expensive lights such as a lumigrow and still with the adjustable light intensities amd the 120 degree viewing angle and still achieve great results?
and has anyone got any indipendent results, im sorry but i dont really trust advice and reccomendations coming from the company themselves lol.

and is it truly necessary to have adjustable intensity on the different colour spectrums? or is it truly possible to veg and flower using the same led panel if it had the full spectrum, i was put onto some lights and kits from the uk that look very promising-

what does everyone think of these? def look good to me if the ability to adjust spectrums isnt needed?

I think different units are going to give you different levels of penetration. I can only speak for the one I use, the lumigrow es-330, but i'm getting great results with it. And the adjustable red and blue intensity actually helps prevent stretch during the veg period if you dial the red down. This is just what i've found during this grow. I just started flowering 2 days ago, and things are looking good already though
