I think this is the normal "Your cheap version is just as good as my over priced version.....DAMN" situation. I'm not putting down pro sound reducing products man! Just saying there is ALWAYS a cheaper way of doing things.....a CHEAP..PROVEN way of doing things. Go to any pro sound recording forums, you'll see more people use egg flats and foam then what you may think.
I'm just giving my 2 cents on a cheap effective method for the DIY'ers out there. I dont run multiple 12" vortex fans....or even 8" for that mater....just one lonely 6", I also have zero concerns about sound issues in my room.
Just giving my method, although not used for the same situation...might help others though. Isn't that what we are here for? I wouldn't give any advise if I had no idea what I was talking about.
As for the sales of over priced products.....well without big business where would we be? If I can produce something for penny's on the dollar, and patent it....doesn't mean I'll sell it for penny's on the dollar.
