Sour d ready Before AK47?

I started some Sour Diesel and some ak47 into flower about 8 weeks ago (6-13-10) and it seems that the sour D are going to finish first. I read that Sour d is in peak ripeness around 85 days but the hairs are already 70-80% brown and about 1/3 of the trichs are amber. The Ak, which is supposed to be 60 days, only has 10-20% brown hairs and about 10% amber trichs. Should i flush the diesel now and let the Ak ride? Sorry but this is my first grow and i want it to be perfect!. Thanks in advance!

Flush both and let them ride out.I had a ak that finishes 9-10 weeks and thats around the same time for sour.You are going to have some bomb smoke.

well i alreaddy started the plain water yesterday. I guess i will hit them with the final phase tomorrow and watch the trichs from here on out. The smoke looks bomb... i am getting impatient and want to chop but i am gonna wait it out. longer flower=longer veg=more flowers. Someone told me that AK 47 meant 47 days of flowering but they are obviously misinformed. thanks and Plus rep. Anyone else have any comments?

i could be wrong, but i have grown some ak before awhile ago.my hairs stayed more on the white side. when i pulled the plant some hairs were still white while the crystals were about 50/50 amber cloudy. when drying they will all brown up. just wait and gage by your crystals.

I just harvested sour diesel. it finished faster than I thought too. I pulled 1/2 plant at day 64 and the other 1/2 on day 69. I wouldn't be too concerned about time. But who I am to say. Only my 3rd grow but did get 3 1/2 ozs from 1 plant with cfls...
