Sour Diesel first grow week two, mellow yellow color.

My two babies are under the following conditions and are a really bright green, nearly yellow, but it is all one tone throught plant.
-They have the 150 w. High pressure sodium bulb two feet from plants.
-Get watered every three days, monitored with moisture guage
-Have had first nutes of miracle grow for veg. state mixed properly with epsom salt, bat guano
-Are recieving twenty four hours of light
-Have just been transplanted to final grow pot of 1/3 miracle grow mix, 1/3 non nutriented soil,1/3 Pearlite 1 tbsp bat guano, 1tsp epsom salt
-they are in with cool humidifier ran with half water and half seltzer water and mist with seltzer
-temp-82-89 always
-Humidity-50% always
-proper ventilation and fans
-ph 7.3 alwayy balanced

I just dont get it, maybe sour diesel is supposed to be this coler in second week, never grown before, anything. These pics were all just taken. The little plant lost two bottom leaves, i safely removed them and plant regained health. I need to know problem and how to fix it!

Just went and got a 1500 lumen output cfl runs "100 watts with only 23"? Maybe this extra lighting will help? One told me ph was too high but I though 7-7.3 was normal? If not how do you lower ph in soil? (more acid) if so how do i get it in soil and how much. Where do I get cheap way to raise or lower ph?

that cfl bulb is just a 23watt bulb. the 100watt thing means it puts out the ammount of light as a 100watt incandescent(i think that's what i mean). i would get a couple 6,500K (daylight) CFL's, 2 27 watts would help ya out. sorry im rambling...

Even if I already have a 150 w. high pressure sodium, the cfl is just extra lighting

Did you mean you already gave it miracle grow? if soo flush them pretty good its way to early for nutes she needs a few set of fan leaves . to get ph down you will need to order some ph down off line like amazon.com with a ph tester for liquid. if you have any more questions i will be glad to try and help.

the 150 hps is fine by itself. i was just chiming in on the cfl in general- not attempt to solve your problem, just talkin bout lights.sorry

I flushed just now and added vinager to soil to reach like 6.4 ph. Am going to the local hydro shop for the ph balencer tommorow. When should it get first nutes? I have heard that the bottom two sprout leaves will fall off eventually, is this true? Will keep updated! Thanks for the advice, hope my babies live!

i agree with this, get a good ph meter get it to 6 with ph down,and thetll recover.
theres not really a cheap way to do it properly, and make some real $.

yess the first 2 sprout leaves will fall off after a couple weeks that when you can add nute,,

ok, wish id have known that, researched for like a week on how to grow and nothing told me of this. Do you'll know of a grow guide (like a book) worth spending the money on?

I flushed them with water last night at around 12:00 pm and just checked them (12 hours after flush) and leaves seem to be more yellow, post new pics tonight! The bottom two leafes of my larger sprout are now about all the way yellow and about to fall off, dont know if this is when it intended to shed the leafes. Vinager was a temporary fix, ph balencer tonight!

Don't buy a book. All the information is on this site. ALL OF IT. Save your money and go get ph UP and ph DOWN. You don't need an expensive meter. Get a drop test kit at the hydro shop. PH a shit load of water and flush your plant until the run off tests around 6.5. Then once its recovered go get some nutes. The fox farm trio will do. Get the CFL outta there. Lower the HPS about 12 inches. You'll be fine.

Why takee the cfl out?IT can benefit from it.The ph drop test is still off not very accurate.Other nutes will do aswell some that are cheaper than fox farms trio.So why fox farms?I mean give some info instead of saying get this and that.
