Its what the fixture came with and at the time I couldn't afford a different set of bulbs.
But after growing with it awhile I've just seemed to have gotten it dialed in....and why fix what ain't broken ?

I ONLY say that because its like a full-balanced meal for a plant (water, co2, nutrients, and BOTH sides of the spectrum) You know like 6500 k is your green beans, and your 2700 is your steak. It's all good......I'd also like to add I only grow for personal, and my avg of 3 zips last me quite awhile.
