Southern US state, Pure AK already in flower

Odd, would have thought that it would be mid August before she started to flower. But I checked about an hour ago, she is already developing on the main cola. This was a clone I put outside because I really didn't have the room inside, first ever clone but wanted to grow new strains from seed. I took the clone from a plant in veg for 47 days, and then vegged it under lights for 39 days. She has been outside since July 12th.

First clone, first outside grow. Should be interesting.

Actually it may seem strange at first but southern us state get less light hours in the summer when compared to northern us state because there's less fluctuation in light hours throughout the year the closer to the equator you get. Maine wont have less light hours than say Florida until about the fall equinox. I guess you can flower all year round at the equator.

My plants started going into flower around July 10. They preflowered in June. I'm North of you. Most people seem to be about 2 weeks ahead this year.

I was hoping for mid August tbh. I took two clones, one did not root so well and I thought it was going to be a dud. But it kicked in about 10 days after the other and I wanted to veg her for a while longer under 18/6. I still can, this is not a long flowering strain (supposedly).

My super skunk x white widow are im week 3 or 4 and my super silver haze x black domina 1 week. So strain really must be playing a big part here.

I'm seeing a lot of variation by phenotype - not surprising. I'm very organised this year and am jotting down the dates each plant starts to flower in earnest (defined as more than 10 pistils visible in top flowers. I have 2/3 in flower by this definition and the rest extremely busy. Interestingly, my more Sativa-doms are showing most strongly. I thought Indica-doms flowered first but maybe they just have a shorter flowering cycle.
