Southern USA summer heat

Hi all, I have trying to find a difinitve answer to the following question and though it may be on the site I cant find it.

I live in the southern eastern portion of the USA. In the summer months it can get very humid and hot. I have a sealed and hidden room that I utilize but space is limited. Do I need to incorporate a A/C unit (this is not in a location that has centeral air or a controled environment. ambiant air is what it is)??

Will just fans and good ventilation work? but if the air outside is 95+ then wont I just be sucking in 95+ degree air?

Any help would be appreciated

I too live in the southern U.S. gulf Coast where in summer time its hot, sticky and humid. In my 8x12 flower room I have 6 x 600wHPS so you can see heat is a constant issue in summer. Even with tapping into my central a/c unit and making a run to my flower room, I still had to install a small window unit into the wall of my flower room to get the heat situation under control. You'll probably have to do the same or get a portable room a/c.
