Yea DMT was a strange experience. The only reason it was bad is cause I was not given the right dosage. I was to aware of everything and the friend that gave it to me totally totally mis informed me about length of trip and was not aware of the effect of to small a dose. When i met the person who made it, he was sympathetic to my reaction when I was given a low dose. He said you either take enough to go over the threshold or you just dont take it. I have had intense trips on salvia and they were all fun and relaxing. Total mind blowing, dream world, room disappearing trip but wonderful. More intense then DMT only cause of my dosage. Anyway back to mushrooms. I have never done the dunk and roll method. Only because the person that i learned how to grow shrooms from was all about casings and liquid cultures due to its high output and fast growing. He was very experienced in trippy drugs and knew alot about cultivating fungus and other things that are used as hallucinatory substances....Not just shrooms. The liquid culture is great but its a little tricky. You have to be anal about sanitary conditions. the reason is when you grow the culture you continuously object it to potential bacteria via using a syringe to suck up the mycelium. Boiling syringes for hours and making sure everything is clean is very important. Also the amount of honey or whatever used can either make your mycelium florish or die. I will find a link as to the best method to use. It took me 3 tries to get it right.

i never tried 10 g's, to crazy... Had a friend who took an eigth along with two grams of the tiny shrooms that form when growing and he bugged out. Tiny shrooms also called aborts are much more potent a gram of those are like 2.5 grams of normal boomers.

Holy shit, I never thought of trying the aborts!! I knew that almost all of the psilocybin and psilocin fromed early in the fruit's life, which is why I take the "boomers" just after the veil breaks instead of growing them BIG, but I never considered taking off all of those tiny little aborts. . . . I think a light bulb just went off in my head. . . .

Also, I didn't know that DMT came from plants!! I was younger and stupid when I tried it, but I read up on it after you said it was natural, and now I'd like to try it again. Damn. I don't think I've come across anybody with DMT in a long time. I'll have to keep my ears open and my eyes peeled. Thanks bro!

DMT IS ALL NATURALE in the brain! DMT converts to dmt in the body... I'm still hung up on the idea of ever trying it! I phantom the thought, more so then anything I can't imagine being sober sitting on my carpet floor and then boom i'm in this other universe. How is the initial come off DMT?

So you're saying VERTISE that the casings are relatively easy in comparison to liquid cultures?

What items woud I need to conduct a successful casing?

Hey all, just thought I'd give updates. The 1st pic shows how much I've harvested just in the past two days, and the 2nd pic shows the start of my 2nd flush. I'm off to hop on the bike and check my PO Box for some new beans -- Peace folks!

I'm not sure what you mean by grams, but I started five cakes. Two of them are still in the dark; one of those two is basically ready for the dome, and I'll bring it out soon. The other one is a little over half-way colonized, but taking quite a long time -- I think it may be too loosely packed to really take off.

Oh -- and I got my beans 2day!!! I got those going in the dome in Rapid Rooters. Pretty good day!! :hump:

Um well, when I mean grams! I mean how many grams did you get off each single cake?

...and I heard the more loosely packed the better, it gives more room for the mycelium to grow!

Well, I'd say I average about five dried grams per cake per flush. That's about half a gram per dried shroom. As for the substrate, you definitely don't want to pack it in tight, but you have to remember, that as the mycelium takes over, the cake shrinks, and sometimes the part that isn't colonized can loosen or even separate, so it takes longer.

I'm passionate about my cannabis growing, however, I also partake in other natural recreational drugs such as mushrooms, mescaline, etc. I've been growing my own shrooms for a year now, and this forum inspired me to take pics and share info on my most recent fruition.

These cakes are my 2nd grow of this particular strain, "Space Coast", and they're finishing up their first flush of about a dozen mushrooms each. I've already sampled some plenty, and let me tell you, it's a great trip. I bought syringes of this strain and grew with them in vermiculite/organic brown rice flour cakes. "Space Coast" is originally a wild strain from the North Coast of Florida. These cakes should start their second flush soon, and I still have two more cakes colonizing that should be ready for the dome soon. I think next time I want to try a different species altogether, like maybe the cyanescens or the azurescens, even though they're difficult to cultivate indoors. I think I could do it :eyesmoke:
I'm from north FL. I wonder if those are what We pick in our cow fields. If so they are awsome! I got a north American guide for mushrooms that I have had for 15 years and they list them as common large psilocybes. I got some cams in jars that are 8 days old that I havent checked yet. If you want to you can stay posted to my bulk monotub grow thread. Peace and good luck!

Really? Only five grams per cake...that's kind of on the low side isn't it? I was expecting at least ten grams!
Five grams per cake PER FLUSH. Like I said, I usually get at least 2 or 3 flushes out of each cake before the mycelium dry up and the nutrients in the cakes are used up, sometimes 4 or 5. So that makes about a 10 or 15 DRY gram total at least, for each cake. Remember, shrooms are 80% water, so what is a quarter ounce fruit body at harvest is only a little over half-a-gram when dried properly. So, actually, compared to what I've seen other people growing, I feel pretty bombastic

They might be!! They're quite potent for Cubensis, and the color-changing along with the usual visuals is quite unique compared to most shrooms, which usually just give the wavy vision without too much added vibrance, if you will. I'll keep up with your grow, thanks for checking out my post!! Here's a link to where I bought them:

So what do you think, are they the same as yours? I'm guessing they're from around the Cape Canaveral area, hence the "Space Coast" moniker. By the way, those pics of the shrooms in that link look exactly like my shrooms!!::-D
