Space Queen or Space Jill as some people call her, seems to be one of the most important strain in Subcool's catalog. He uses it to cross with several types to create a few different strains he's marketed.

The few grow pics and smoke reports that I founds on her, made me want her to moment I laid eyes on her.

Space Queen
Romulan x Cinderella 99
Sativa/ Indica 70/30
Our interpretation of BCGA’s famous lost cross Space Queen this f2 took over a year to create agonizing over 4 distinct and amazing mother plants found in a very old pack of Vics original seeds. Once the best mother plant was selected the long process of growing out the f2 generation was started and the results made us very happy and very very stoned. This cross has been grown more than any other TGA gear and everyone that germinates seeds ends up with a keeper female they cherish forever. We have donated close to 300 packs of this cross to the medical community it is liked so well.

1) Phenotypes-Medium variation Leaning from C99 to Romulan
2) Height- Thin and lanky unless topped
3) Yield- Medium
4) Indoor/ Outdoor
5) Best Way to Grow- Needs canopy management like Scrog or lots of support stakes
6) Harvest Window-50-60 days
7) F2 Recreation of one of the best tasting strains using a year to select parents
 High type- Speedy, trippy, intense, paranoid , motivating, pain relief
9) Taste like sour semi rotting fruit or mangos like sour candy worms

First time grower here. I have a Space Queen (TGA) plant that I vegged for about 6 weeks. I'm growing in Ocean Forest Soil, under a 400watt HPS (went from MH) using all the Foxfarms Nutes I am following the feeding schedule almost exactly except I kept them in 18/6 for six weeks instead of 4. I bought all of the solubles (open sesame, beastie bloomz, cha ching) abd have keepint the water PH around 6. Today is day 18 of 12/12, this plant is 32" tall. Was wondering if the kind people here could look at these pics and let me know how I'm doing.

from druglibrary.prg...

Space Queen was the only reason I invested in C99 in the first place. Ever since I heard the description of Soul's princess I knew her and Romulan would be the perfect match. Then prototype crosses between P75 and Romberry started pumping out the winners that have found keeper status in many select gardens. Each of these keepers exhibit a blend of C99 and Romulan characteristics. Space Queen is a Romulan/C99 hybrid. Flavour and potency are sure things, both parents are known for their high potency and great highs. Lemon, pine, and pineapple all swirl in a pungent bouquet to tantalize your taste buds!! Vigour will be outstanding and you'll be able to cut back on the light intensity somewhat Flowering time will be comparable to Romberry, averaging 8 weeks depending on grower and grow environment. Yield will be above average, but she won't be a top production plant. I hope she puts a smile on a few faces.

and...

I've had space queen for a long time now, got the original seeds from bcga at heavens stairway . I,ve grown 8 seeds, found the pheno that best suits me .It has rock solid buds with a fruity pineapple smell and taste with hashy undertones my girl finishes in 45 to 48 days of 12 / 12. I'm using gh nutrients under 1 / 600 watt hps, grown in dwc buckets. The high from this strain is so nice, well balanced .
I couldn't ask for more ...

i actually started a new thread in the indoor grow forum to ask people that same question about molasses and bugs, and got a whole "one" reply. lol. i know that frequent watering of an indoor plant under a HID light with all the nutes being used in the soil medium is an attraction for bugs, to me it would only make sense that adding any sugar product would add to that attraction. anyone know?

also, i was thinking that spraying with neem would be a preventative measure that i could take. but... im not sure since im in 12/12 if thats a good idea. i def dont want my buds smelling/tasting like neem, i hate how that stuff smells. anyone have any suggestions?

id say use the molasses..if you see any bugs, stop using it until the problem is taken care of.

i wouldnt spray anything if youve got buds on the plant

my 2 cents

Nothing really important to say, but good choice on strain bro. Just got some space queen fresh from harvest and its a really good buzz. This pheno was loaded with crystals, but didn't posses to much of a smell, or any smell for that matter. really enjoy the high, forgot what I was originally gonna tell u. oh well good luck with the grow

New Pics. Day 27 in 12/12

and the top

here's her sister, a white widow. interesting story that goes along with this one... an excerpt from another thread i posted...

"In June I planted a couple White Widow Plants, that looked like they were doing fantastic during the six weeks I had em in Veg. Indoor Grow under a 400watt MH, in Ocean Forest Soil, using foxfarms 3pack nutes... everything was going great.... until my bestfriend at the time, and her boyfriend.. decided it would be alot of fun to break in my house while I was at work and steal my plants. They didnt think I would ever suspect them, and they made off with my plants, my nutes, a laptop, 1/4 ounce of strawberry cough bud, digital camera, mp3 player etc..

I was devastated. It was so heartbreaking to come home, see soil thrown across your room, plants and electronics gone, I had no idea who the hell did it. The middle of August rolled around, and a friend of the girl's family informs me that some of the stuff that I had missing, she had seen these two people carrying. I immediately went to the home of the girl who was my supposed "bestfriend" searched her room, and pulled out some of my possessions. I confronted her, she cried, gave me this huge bullshit I'm sorry story, and led me out into the woods to show me where my Widows were. One was in real bad shape, I tried to salvage it, it was useless. It died. The other, looked bad too, but I dug it up, repotted it, and brought it home, a couple weeks later, moved to a more secure apartment, put it under my lights and started 12/12. It was evident that the shorter days threw my widow into flower, and even though she looks small and frail, I'm glad I at least got her back. Just before they stole them, I was lucky enough to take a cutting, which I grew and it's much larger than the plant that is a month older than her, so I didnt lose out completley. I learned a lesson that envy among friends is a bitch, and that these people defiinitley are not my friends any more, they can rot in hell."
