Space Required for Tent Setup?

I want to set up a 4x4 tent in a small room and am concerned with the clearance need for setting it up.

The room is approx 6'x6'x7'. Most 4'x4' tents I see are around 80" which would give me only a few inches of clearance on top.

Also, the 6x6 floor space doesnt leave me much room to really spread out the tent cover. The only door into the room is only 30" x 60".

Anyone with experience think it is possible? Know of any quality tents that are closer to 4' x 4' x 6'?

Thanks

I think you should just use the whole room if ur gonna put 4x4 tent into 6x6 space.
Answer to your question. Tent will fit perfect in there. The holes for the vent are on the sides of most tents, so you won't have to worry about clearance on top. You can get a tent that's 6.5 ft tall.

my tent ended up being a little bigger than i thought. ended up setting it up from inside, was kinda a pita but worked. you'll prob end up pushing it into a corner and just accessing from 2 sides.

I need the remaining space for a mother and cuttings and I only run a 600w HPS.

I am not concerned with the tent fitting inside the space, its the setting it up in there that I was thinking about. I will probably end up just framing out a 4' x 4' area or something close that will allow me a couple feet for cuttings and a mother so I can always have plants ready for flowering.

Thanks

I put a 6' 6" tent in a room with a 6' 9" ceiling. My tent had two-piece vertical poles so I built the bottom with the poles sticking up from each corner and then, inside the tent and off-set by a couple inches, I built the top frame with poles pointing down. With some help from a friend I then raised the top frame up and inserted those poles down into the bottom frame. I had to bend the metal poles a bit because the fabric was stretched to the max and I didn't want rip the tent of course. Just be careful you don't bend the poles too much or they will break. Hope that helps...
