specific temp for cannabutter?

hi its my bday so im currently attempting to make some cannabutter for some treats later, i know theres a temp where bud isnt supposed to reach but i cant seem to find it.. and i really dont want to waste any flower can anybody help? thanks:bigjoint:

keep it between 325-350 degrees F no matter how you are cooking. Most people use the double-boiler method but this doesn't even take the temperature about 212 F (temp water boils) and thusly, no decarboxylation occurs. Above 220, below 350 (closer to 350), I usually go around 325.

I kind of needed it that day.. but thank you anyways im going to try that next time i make it:bigjoint:. i made sure it didnt reach about 300 i was really paranoid i was going to burn it up.. so in the end i left it for about 12 hours because i heard the longer the better.. had time so i did it. and these are the end results :lol: its pretty potent nothin to heavy. i did only use leaf no nugs. anybody done it with kief:?:

i have a ton of keif and am waiting to do this very soon. i noticed you used the water method. ive seen/ tasted butter made where the girl didnt add water nor did she strain the weed from the butter. she simply simmered the butter/weed for 40 min and used in a cookie mix. the cookies tasted good and i caught a good buzz from it. it wasnt keif but my point is that she didnt strain it or anything.. but i guess theres more than 1 way of skinning a cat.. not sure which way im gonna do it.

for sure bro good info im definetly going to try it another way this time around see if i get better results :-P
