The buds look good. The only problem with leds is the lack or penetration. like you said only the top colas came out. That being said i think you can go heads up in a grams/watt challenge with the best of them so good job and +rep for that!

did it take longer than the norm. they are small too. do you think you would have done better with hid?

This in my first grow but i went to school for pot so i have a decent knowledge on growing. I have 2 90w HO Cree LED 6 Band UFO for veg stage. I did many research before buying them.
Here are a few picture to show what led can do...
The two plants in the front are about 45 inches and one plant in the back is 30 inches while another one is 55 inches. If any one has an advice on how i can slow it down i would be glad to hear it. I just dont want to go in flowering right now because it is way too hot where i live.

You should really look into Kessils like them a lot using 4 now

No one ever talked about the advantage of not having to buy a new bulb every grow. How does that factor in to your watts to weight ratio
On the other side, bulbs are pretty inexpensive. Also if your led just happens to be a bad model (not the 14,000+ led life expected) you may find yourself with a soldering project or looking for a whole new model.
I'm happy with my 240w blackstar (135w actual) having a grid of 70ish light sources really gives you some canopy penetration. You can always see little dots of reds blues and whites making it all the way to the ground.

Hey bro.. idk if you are talking about the same LED'S I just purchased. But I got the 225wt panels a total of 4 panels, red/blue in spectrum for 80$!! Through auction of course! But hey fella's, if your intrested in some kick ass leds and at dirt cheap prices, go to Ebay. Its worth it, well it was to me.. well, thought I would try n help a few fellow growers out with the info.. well happy growing/toking.. peace

Tha heck. Yall got leds messed up.. leds are a more penetrating light and different from any other on the spectrum. .and yall are all noobs fck watts..luminance is all that matters lol.. 5000 luminous per square foot 4000 minamal
