Speed up flowering stage outdoors

I was hoping to speed up the flowering stage of my plants. They are outdoors in a greenhouse. If I leave them to flower with the nature they won't start to flower until August and may not be ready until September/October. They are big enough now to start flowering. I was thinking about covering them with a black plastic for so many hours corresponding to sunlight hours. Unfortunately I would love to wait, but they are in definite danger of being discovered in September:( Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated Thanks!

Light depo. You can cover them with a tarp 12 hours a day and that will force them to flower. That will get them started flowering in about 2 weeks.

^^yes you can do what he said. alot of people do that to get 2 harvests each year outdoors. the only problem is that you have to be outside every night to put them under the tarp and up early everyday to take the tarp off, its a pain in the ass. goodluck.

absolutely! cover them bitches till around mid august, then leave em' alone. they'll finish a month earlier if you start now.

Will the black tarp cause any problems? Like retaining excess moisture and causing mold? Or would it retain too much heat and damage the plants?

A refrigerator box works good.. just tape the corners and folding spots.. maybe poke some holes in the bottom

I have just started my 4 week veg Wappa's (Paradise Seeds) into flower, only 5 days in yet so not much change, though new leaves
are not developing quite right so it seems the hormones are changing in the plant. I put a large cardboard box on top of them each evening and take it off in the morning.(checked for any holes and taped them all) I am doing 12/12 as suggested. I am hoping to see something happen in a week or so. No mould problems so far, the plants and box get a good airing outside in the day so I think that stops mould (I hope anyway).

Though I hear mould is more of a problem when you have actual flower buds.

I must look into where flowers appear on the plant, any links guys and gals ?

I got 4 black boxes in last summer!
Cover them up at 530pm then when it gets dark enough 930 or 10pm
uncover them so you dont have to wake up early!!!!
keep your porch lights off tho.
