I have been looking for where I can fine ProMix in my area however, there are no retailers that I was able to find. I needed to put my cracked seeds into something so I purchased from walmart Miracle grow enriched Canadian sphagnum peat moss and filled a few solo cups with it and placed my seeds. Will this be ok for now? Looking at the composition of promix on the website, it is 75% sphagnum peat. I am planning to mix this peat I have with perilite for the final mix and plan to feed the plants nutrients. Any seggestions? Is it too late to transplant seedlings to another medium?

well the main concern i have for you is when you decided to start feeding your own nutrients because the mg mix already containing stuff could cause burn or lock out..if you do use it in a mix its imo that you might want to just feed water for the first three weeks of veg so the ladies eat up all the mg in the mix..also as for the seedlings just remember that the peat holds water like crazy so don't drown your seeds, i wouldn't risk handling the seedlings to much..and remember when using chemical nutrients in peat the salt builds up quick so flush flush flush often..or use organic.hope that helps a bit.

I would buy something else ASAP.

If there's alot of nutes in it they could burn & die
