"However, the smoking drug contains the man-made chemical JHW-018, according to a study presented by the German city Frankfurt on Monday, which was confirmed by Austrian researchers.

I live in Tokyo, Japan, and since it's a pretty serious offense to get caught with marijuana a lot of people I know smoke this 'spice' instead.
I'm not sure if it's the same stuff as what is mentioned in the article, but supposedly it's like 'fake' weed; people will only smoke it because it's cheap (relatively) and legal.

I'm not sure exactly what it is and I've never smoked it myself, but it's sold in head shops here.
I will give it a try within the next couple of weeks and share my experience.
Does anyone else have some experience with this stuff?

OMG... hilarious lolcat !!!

Still...spice sucks and is really really bad for your health as opposed to weed that has been proven to prevent cancer buildup, tumor growth, Alzheimer's and many more "incurable" diseases that pump money in the pharmaceutical companies.

i went to a catholic high school that randomly drug tested the students so pretty much everyone was looking for an alternative to smoking weed. most kids rolled all the time or took psychadelics...anything that didnt show up on the tests. well about 3 years ago one of my friends told me about spice. Since then its spread all over my town amongst the high school students. its basically marketed as one of the "legal" buds and often gets classified with them as a fake ripoff that wont do anything for you. spice isnt 4 times stronger. as someone whos smoked both they are generally about the same strength. spice seems to make you alot dumber. Even i noticed i was saying much more stupid shit than when im normally stoned. Also its horrible for you. Because my school (and other schools in my area) drug test everyone smokes spice. there are multiple spice dealers in town. its actually kind of creepy. also they never have really released the ingredients in these products. one of my friends has become addicted to it and shakes when he cant smoke.

Are we talking about Spice Gold or what?
yes. it is.

actually thats not true. although the majority of legal buds dont work, there are a select few that do work. and they work well. because most of the legal buds out there are a rip off people just classify them together. if you are skeptical i recommend you buy some and try it out for yourself. www.everyondoesit.org sells all the Spice products. i know youll immediately get turned off by the taste(all of these taste like shit to some extent) but it will get you very high. i know the taste can be offputting for some but you have to realize that the product is designed for people who cant smoke bud. if you ask me a bad taste is worth it if you have no other options.

also i have some pretty good experience with this. ive smoked it 3 or 4 times and have tons of friends who still have to. so if anyone has any questions or anything i would be happy to help

I'm sure huffing paint will get you four times as high too..... nuff said.

out. :blsmoke:
Thanks for the good point. If you want stronger stuff, there's a lot of entheogens and hard drugs that will send you trippin that are still less harmful to your health than that spice crap.

I actually find it offensive to try and market this shit as an alternative to real weed. I can remember when people used to bash food companies for making hemp tasting chocolate and lolly pops cause they reminded people of weed, but won't even say a word about spice, even though it's more devastating to your health and is backed up by assholes who seek to profit from mj prohibition. kiss-ass

Keep it real, keep it green! :weed:

i agree. i wish my friends didnt have to turn to this but i understand. they arent looking for something stronger than weed. they are looking for an alternative. also the reason there isnt a huge uproar against this product is because its flying pretty much under the radar. you cant buy it in the states anywhere as far as i know and it is sold as an incense much like salvia is(or used to be in some states). most cops dont even know what it is. they just see that its not weed in the pipe and move on. my friend has gotten off a paraphernalia charge because he showed the cop his spice package

okay real question.

is spice a cannabinoid? does it work on the same receptors as thc/cbd/cbn?

i dont think spice has any cannabinoids in it. its my understanding that spice isnt any one plant but a mixture of psychoactive herbs such as salvia or kratom(not to say that either of those is in there, just an example). as far as i know they havnt really released a full ingredients list.
