I think I posted this before but I'll try it again.

These "boards" might have the same design flaw as the ones for a Gorilla tent. The issue is the width. Unless there's a gap between the poles that hold up the board and the poles in the corners of the tent, a grower cannot use anything that clamps on to the poles that hold up the tent.

The impact of this design is that growers who own a clip on fan, for example, will not be able to use their fan any longer.

The fix for this is to reduce the width of these boards by 1" to 2". That will improve/ensure the usability of this product, reduce the rate of returns (increasing user satisfaction), reduce the cost of production (leading to increased profit).

How small is your tent? The gear board is only about 500mm wide .

It's a Gorilla tent 2' x 4' and it's 56cm/22" between the poles.

Thanks to your posting, I checked out the product description and it's a slightly different design than I had thought (an assumption being the mother of all F'ups). I thought they were using a setup similar to the Gorilla boards which are attached to the end poles using clips. The Spider boards have that option but they also offer "feet" that are strips of metal that are slightly arched. They label that the "outside" the tent option but that makes it free-standing in the tent. That's the trick for being able to use clipons.

At 600mm/23.6", they are a tight fit. I have a scrog net that has bars that run around the tent. At 23.6", if I center one of these boards depth wise in the tent, that leaves me only 0.2" in front of and behind the board. With just that much clearance, if a grower is using a net that uses PVC tubing they're going to have to angle the boards away from parallel to the end of the tent to make room for the cross tubing. :-(

Having the pass throughs for cables is a nice touch and they can be freestanding in the tent is useful even in places that get earthquakes because it comes with straps that will anchor it to the bars at the top bars at the end of the tent. Just gotta get them a little less wide and they'd be the cat's meow.
