spider in the Grow room

So, my cat, Dixie, is a head.
She has a sixth sense about when I'm going into my grow and she jumps up and meets me at the door.
Today, We met at the door and she went in as I opened it.
She always grazes on the lower leaves that I leave on the plant for her.
Today, as she approached the plants, a spider on the highest point of one plant jumped on her as she approached.
It was a very large wolf spider. Still cannot determine how they get in - it's like a magic trick.
But, there's Dixie, with a wolf spider on her head that is big enough to cover her entire forehead.
She paused for just a moment to look at me beseechingly, then went full tasmanian devil.
The spider jumped and landed on the floor and I immediately stomped it, but Dixie did not know that.
Dixie knocked over every single plant - in 5 gallon fabric pots - knocked the ballast off the table, and was running full tilt at a closed door when I scooped her up.
She was panic stricken. Took her 5 minutes to calm down enough to sniff the dead spider and relax.
Ah, pets.....
She's not sure she wants to graze today.

Wow. What stage of plant growth got knocked over? Any significant damage to plants or equipment?

No real damage done.
Only a week into flower, full sativa plants. They are only 12 inches tall.
This time I am trying coco, perlite, worm castings, azomite, Sea 90, and Earth Dust, so the root balls are fortified with hella Mycorrhizae and didn't even dent.
They look more worse for wear from the grazing she does on the leaves.
No damage, thankfully, to equipment, either.
The rare occasion I get to enjoy the hilarity without paying for it. :)

Spiders are good
Sorry but it could be karma for the stomp
Dude, I defy you to try to approach a wolf spider with a five inch leg span. He will be behind you before you can react. They are JUMPING spiders...
I had the instant thought of closing the door and forgetting I had that room.
I saw my opening and hit the lottery. I got him.

I owned a black tarantula for years
He could jump eight feet straight in to the air and was poisonous
No fear here now snakes…

Mt dad went on vacation one time and asked me to feed his critters.
Turns out he had a spider.
Not knowing any better, I throw the lid open and go to throw a cricket in there.
He jumps out onto the top of the cage.
Out of instinct, I throw the cricket in the cage to free my hands.
Spider jumps in after cricket.
I throw the lid closed.
Had NO IDEA a baboon spider could jump...
It was an ugly bastage.
Dad told if it had bit me, I wouldn't have made it to the front door.
I don't know if he was messing with me or not.
But I never fed his animals ever again.
