What do if you find out that Mites attacked your herb literally 24hrs after you hung it up to dry and in a big way. You remove all the webs and THEN WHAT???

The herb is already harvested. I honestly have no idea as ive never had this happen but a patient of mine just had this happen to his first crop of Lemon Kush. I'd like to see if I can find some solid advice for him on this.

Thanks guys!

I would not worry too much.. mites like live stuff... they need a host... so the bulk of the little fuckers should leave..... when you vacuumed you should have sucked up some.... But there will be some dead ones or stragglers... If you have smoked herb at all I am sure you smoke a couple of mites and your still alive.... Just look at food... they are allowed to have a certain percentage of bug parts in processed food and still deem them safe.... Fig newtons are chock full of bug parts and shit, so a couple of mites in the pipe never hurt anyone....

A buddy of mine had a problem like that. He said he put plastic wrap across the top of the buds while hung. So the wrap wan't touching the actual buds, just the stem/branch.. He said most clime up onto the plastic and then he threw the plastic wrap away

God damn it I love fig newtons.. Never again.

anyone ever try washing there freshly harvested bud? i dont mean in your washing machine either, lol. i had that problem a while back, i simply trimed like normal then set up a bath of lukewarm water and rinsed out the buds, lightly spinning the stem between my thumb and index finger, after removing from the water i spun it again to get all the water and any mites that might have clung in there. it does not hurt the buds and worked great. then dry like normal.
