Thrips, I never heard of em but they sure look like em after doing some research - nice one chuck.
I have cut the affected leaves off as they needed trimming back anyway.
I have noticed if I stick my finger in the soil the od fly pops out. Will they go to the buds?
I need to get some ladybirds (ladybugs)

Whats comming out of the soil are fungi nats. They won't go to the buds. The larve eat dead matter. I don't think they are a real prob I just don't like anything in my grow room.

Ouch, this hurts; Get you and your wife and now your neighbour on the same page. What did your neighbour have to say, hopefully it was; I'll roll the first one! regards,

those look like fruit fly larva. Spidermites look like tiny litttle ittty bitty spiders. Most of the time they will be a reddish brown when fully grown. I have a pepper plant with them on it. Ill try n get a pic of the spider mites i have.
