Spiders On My Plants

My plant is outside. everyday i go check on it it has like 4 little yellow spiders crawling on it. My plant is very small because i planted it like a week ago. I realize its late in the season to plant it but i have my reasons. What are these spiders and are they bad.

Can you see any webbing under the leaves or other tiny, tiny spiders or bugs on the plant?

umm i dont think there is any webbing and i dont see any other tiny bugs. the spiders are yellowish and whiteish they are really small(about the size of pencil eraser counting the legs)

I'm always finding spiders on my outdoor plant. The yellow spider you are describing sounds like a goldenrod spider....I'll see if I can find a picture. I've found them small like you described and about as big as a quarter.

Personally, I leave them....spiders eat other bugs, not plants.

This is a goldenrod spider...


This guy has yet to be identified...

like stated spiders eat other bugs so they help us...but if their the borg(spider mites) kill them fucks...but those on your plants are the benifecial ones....just make sure to watch out at harvest time..you dont get bit..also kep webs in check dont let them stay to long or get to big(obvious reasons)

what do spider mites look like and what do they do? I have heard of some kind of spirder that eats the thc off the plants but i dont know if thats true

spider mites are very very tiny little bugs. They are about the size of a pin tip.They usually are under the leaves and look like little dots but if you touch them they will move. They also make webs just like spiders but smaller you can mist a plant and se the web.Its a blue white web.The mites eat your plants and kill the leaves and are a pian once you got them.Preventitive is the best solution.Never bring out door plants to an indoor grow as you will almost always infect a clean inside room.

ive had both of those spiders lurking around plant,i didntkill them but i moved them to a new location,they were webbing buds on plant pretty fucken fierce.I had to use tweezers to get ll the webs off,they probly helped eat other bugs untill i noticed them,so i let them live....

I think youll find that the second spider is a jumping spider,very small and they jump onto their prey and move well fast,they is good at killing gnats:leaf:

I'm pretty sure you're right, it is some kind of jumping spider. I see them all the time and the are tiny but they jump really far.

I installed brown spiders on my plants and I have had no pests since. They are the greatest pesticide around. Just make sure they don't go too nuts with the webbing.
