Best look up Spinosad and the time you spend working on the plant after spray. Each crop had a different amount of time you can spend working around the plants after spray.

at home depot they sell Jack's Dead Bug. it's active ingredient is spinosad. works great and sells for about $10. it's premixed and ready to spray:don't forget to shake the bottle a little before spraying. GL
So do i spray all over me lady, bud , leaf and all? and not worry about it effecting the taste of my smoke? or should i hold a piece of paper behind the leaf that im spraying to make sure it doesnt get on my bud?

As allready mentioned Home Depot has products with spinosad & from my experience in dealing with spider mites , catapillars & leaf miners spinosad products are far superior vs other products of like safe use specifications , for those who dont know what spinosad is it's made from a " Natural " bacteria that is only found in nature at the site of an ancient rum distillery on some island , it was found underneath kegs of rum that had leaked for like 100 yrs & the bacteria formed with the help of the yeast in the rum , spinosad is an organic pesticide designed for specific use on fruits & veggies grown organically .

Another members post makes it look like spinosad is hard to work with & dangerous to work with , this is 100% not the case , spinosad is safe to use on mj right up to the last week of harvest & is very easy to use & easy to figure a mix ratio , i mix Captain Jacks Dead Bug ( Spinosad ) depending on the infestation , if its just a few random bugs i go with 1/4 oz per gallon , if it's a heavy infestation or i see webbing from mites i mix at 2 ozs per gallon , for heavy infestations i spray at 3 day intervals starting out at max dose of 2 oz's , then 1 oz & finish off with about a half oz .

There is nothing hazardous , dangerous or confusing about working with Captain Jacks except for the fact the instructions for mix ratios are not specifically written for use on mj , in which you use the tried & true instructions for tomatoes , it's got better knock down killing power than azamax or neem oil & is way safer than azamax , it's good stuff & very safe , along with Home Depot you can find Captain Jacks Dead Bug at Ace Hardware & Lowes & Menards .

Edit , as for getting the fuk outta the room after spraying no , you dont have to run or do anything special other than use good ole common sense , Captain Jacks Spinosad isnt an areosol product that creates a fog in the air its a 99% water based product , as with any insecticide turn off all fans before spraying & cover your mouth with a bandana or paper painters mask & your good to go , the instant your done spraying turn all fans back on & go about business as usual , far too much " danger will robinson " fear mongering is going on here about one of the safest pesticides available , unless you plan on having insect problems for yrs your more likely to choke on a pubic hair inside a Mcdonalds big mac than have health problems from using an organic pesticide designed for use on consumables .

wow thank you so much panhead :) you made me feel so much better. I just got back from the Home depot and they didnt have jacks deadbug brew :( but I found another organic pesticide thats called "Eco Smart orgainc garden insect killer" it doesn't have spinosad in it unfortunately :( i was really looking for something with that in it. This has rosemary, peppermint, thyme, clove, other ingredients - white mineral oil , potassium oleate , lecithins.

says you can spray and harvest the same day. it advertises non toxic :) Think this would work? or should i try my local nursery or another Home depot? for the captain jack dead bug brew i have several i can drive to. im not afraid of a ride.:)

When i apply this stuff (whatever i use) think i could just shake it up really good apply liberal amount to a cotton ball and then put on my lady? to keep the stuff spraying all over my flowers??

can't figure out the controversy over spinsod. it's organic. spray the whole plant (upper and under the leaves). let it dry before touching. nothing to it. on with the grow! GL
