Split cost of TMV test strips ??

Thinking that I have a TMV infection. As this virus spreads rather easily, negatively affects yield and requires a complete bleach disinfection of everything to get rid of, I want to be sure before I completely nuc my grow rooms and start over

TMV is much more widespread than people realize and I go my infection from clones I purchased in a medical state

A 25 pack of test strips costs $100. Simple test will give you yeah or neah results. I can't ever see myself using all 25 strips and they don't last forever so I wanted to see if anyone would split the cost with me and I'll mail you out your half. Could split up to four ways.

Yeah no shit!! It's kind of weird that is never talked about or realized. I have seen recent posts saying that it doesn't affect MJ plants, only plants of the solinacae family (nightshade) but that is not the case. After treating a few of my plants for what I thought was iron deficiency (swaths of bright yellow on a few leaves) I paid a visit to a buddies grow that is flowering some plants that I cloned from. Tadah.. the signs of TMV were unmistakeable. Banding on one side of the leaf and leaves that were wrinkled. Now I know why I have necrotic spots on the plants I thought were iron deficient.

The test takes up to 30 minutes to complete but basically you just crush a small sample in some solution then dip a test stick in and wait for the result. I can totally see myself testing clones before I take them home.

You ever get rid of this problem? I'm pretty sure I have it too...

i see quite a few plants on this site that have this. the leaves give it away.

Well I'm about to harvest the plants that I know have it and get rid of that strain. I tried to be as meticulous as possible with sterilizing tools and what not. Going to bleach down the entire operation in 3 days when I harvest
