splitting my plant

how tall should my plant be before i split it and how ashould i go about doing it ?????i heard you can just pick the fress sprouts from the center ??? is this true ???

Im pretty sure you meant topping not splitting. Topping is best done if you wait until you plant grows to 6 nodes then cutting it off at the main stem just above the second true node. This gives four main colas.

brother im soo newe to this ... i got the main info i needed am its all triasl and error for me.. so if you could explain what a node is and a colas that would help me alot lol... and this is what i do to make my plant yeild more correct ???? thank for the help
