I couldn't be more satisfied than I am with my silver surfer.
Yeah - I love my Arizer Extreme - been using it for a few years. Can't imagine being happier with a primary vape. I don't think Volcano is the only great vape out there. I also have the MFLB, which I like a lot. I just couldn't resist trying the da Vinci for $144...

Wow - I am one with my new da Vinci vape. Testing how many sessions I can get off a charge. So far 3 (or was it 4 ...)

The Buddha is very similar.... everyone who hits it says it is the best vape they have hit.

If forced air is a must, ok, it's not for you. Otherwise... 7 floors is making the best vapes that I have hit..

Let it heat up for 5 minutes... Long slow pull at about 11:30 (the dial) is bliss. So clean. It makes a sativa leaning hybrid feel like a super clean long flowering nearly pure sativa.
It's like your smoking hash, basically.

The Magic Flight Launch Box is a great vape. I've had mine for about a year now. The batteries last a little longer than what you might have read. I find that 2 batteries will last me and my friends all night. Get a few extras though. The wall adapter is good too, let's you control the heat. It's like $60 extra though. Also you have a lifetime warranty, even if you rip the screen yourself. In my opinion it's the best portable vape because you can conceal it in the palm of your hand. Personally used mine at Yankee Stadium with nobody being wise to it.

HOWEVER, not an ideal vape for a big group of people. If you are trying to get ripped fast, it's not going to happen. Takes a while to get back to you, needs to be packed multiple times etc. So after doing a ton of research I ordered the Extreme Q by Arizer. Glad to see people in this thread are singing it's praises. I should be getting it in the next few days.

I had the Vapir No2 for a little bit. Wound up returning it because of the notorious plastic taste. It did the trick though and in my opinion was more conservative than any other vape I've tried. But after stumbling across FuckCombustion.com and reading about the same taste I was getting I returned it for the MFLB.

I suggest doing some research though man. Youtube has a fair amount of vape reviews. These things are not exactly cheap, so make sure you get the one that suits your needs best.

Well. I can see that vape collecting is going to become a hobby of mine :)

I have and like the MFLB as well. The batteries last pretty good for me, too, and I love the ultra-stealthiness. I do find that the plant material does not seem to process as thoroughly as my Arizer Extreme or da Vinci. I have to say that I am very impressed with the da Vinci. The thing I like least about it is the amount that you can load, although a session with the daVinci gets me about as toasty as a session with the Arizer, which holds twice as much. I'm looking forward to trying some oil in it.

Whatever you do, don't throwdown for a NEW Volcano.

$500 is outrageous. I'm on my second one now and it came from Craigslist (where I paid $300 for a like-new solid valve Classic).

Don't get me wrong, S&B make a quality vape and it's nice to buy new. But for that kinda money you could just go grab either an Extreme Q or a used one and STILL have money left over to go pickup an Oz to christen it with. :bigjoint:

I have an arizer ex q and love it when I get really really baked I love the remote control more then anything I sit there turning the base light on and off

Hell I`ve had old school stoners ask me "so what is that thing" and there always baked too as I say well see this remote control ? It makes that light go on and off how amazing is that ?? and I can make it beep ?

Also you can vape weed in it then I show them the remote control and say "so what year do you want to be stoned in ? lets take this baby up to 88mph" and start to hum back to the future tune I also made a green light to go on my bag vape bong so to an old stoner the whole set up could look like a dam time machine lol

I also have a few heating elements from ebay easy vape type stuff I attach an arizer herb chamber to the easy vape set it to between 180 and 200c then put a weedstar carbon filter chamber on it empty just use it as an expansion chamber, then have a 90 glass to pipe coming off of that and plug it into one of my bongs

Its great for watching tv in the other room when I can`t be asked running to my bed room to get the next bag off my arizer or fill up a 3m bag cos that takes a whole eight lol

I will say this

Vapecano B + perc + bong

If I can be asked the Vapecano B gets me more baked then anything else its just a bit of work

If you have not used one it`s basically a glass bong bowl with a pointy glass lid that you heat up with a jet lighter as you pull in the glass heats the air after a few go`s you can really master getting it just right, I also like to use an empty carbon filter as an expansion chamber right after the bowl it helps you see how dense the vapour going into your perc is.

If you have a nice glass bong it`s cheaper then any other vape you can buy and does a very nice job

I`m also working on my own all glass portable vape

So far it works but I`m using a 24v ceramic soldering iron heat element as my heater only problem was with temps as I only had an 11.1v lipo to power it off of I`m waiting for a 14.8v lipo to be delivered form HK so that I can start to finish it.

As the bat is a 3800mah it should run the heater for around 2 hours I think that`s plenty also I can make an attachment so that I can rig it up to a perc or a bong I may add temp controls later but it should be hitting around 180c to 200c with the new battery and that`s around the temp I normally like to use my ariser at.

I strongly suggest a visit to a vaporist and try them all. Seriously. They all work and can be used successfully with proper technique. When you find the one for you, you will know it. There isn't one that makes everyone happy.
when I tried the Supreme I knew immediately....it had my name on it.
I'm getting an SSV for a stationary unit and the wife appreciates the aromatherapy part of it....
....and I agree. $500 is getting pretty dear for a vape. That alone keeps me from even thinking of something like that. I have used an old model Volcano and it's nice....but not $500 worth.

Some are just plain junk no matter the technique. There is too much $$ to be had to think all of these will be designed well.

Still, even a good one won't seem right unless you use it correctly. Grind, filling/packing the chamber, draw speed, temp etc. ALL of these are crucial to getting a good hit unlike smoking where as long as it's burning it'll work.

With a whip type almost all the tech is in the draw. With a balloon type you can dial it in with temp and grind as it has a fixed rate of air flow... most of this won't probably make sense until you try them :P happy vaping!

speaking of grind...
there is a grinder made specifically for the Launch Box now. Make a very fine grind.
