Sponggie Bud

Can someone tell me why my buds start out all hard and thight and then hagging for four days losen all up and
get all sponge.when i harvested them they there hard as a rock,well mybe not a rock but they were nice and tight.now it's day four
and those big ass buds are fluffy??????HELP Temp is 72 degrees ,little air movment ,dark as hell???

They shrink as moisture leaves..no big deal..I've grown some look like long strands of beads, no nug at all

What you felt wasn't density, it was mass. The majority of what makes up the mass of living tissue is water.

Density is mass/volume. Both decrease in drying but mass does so at a greater rate.

The good news is that you didn't really ruin your tight, dense buds. The bad news is that they weren't tight or dense in the first place.

Poor lighting (low intensity, penetration etc) is probably the number one cause of airy bud. What was your lighting?
