Hows it going,
First time grower here..i started with some seeds i got in a bad...

I use...
150watt CFL Bulb
i dont have a ph tester i have been using tap water thats been sitting out for a day. Useing Evergreen Tree and shrub nutes and its n-p-k ratio is 16-4-8

The first month was going fine till over night these spots appeared..
Any ideas what it is?
I see some spots on the next set of leaves and im worried that will be a problem

if you guys are sure its gotta be water on the leaves, that's probably what it is, i go by the rule of thumb water when the soil is dry so they probably got splashed or something...how much water does it take for their to be damage should i be checking the leaves for moisture everytime i water?i thought cfls didn't put out alot of heat? sure don't feel hot

You got seeds in a BAD eh? more like you got BAD seeds from a BAG. These are how old?? A month? Check my grow, those are only 25 days into the mix with only a 70 watt HPS... it looks like your plant has a severe growth problem unless these pics are just the bottom most leaves? My stem was pretty thick by the time my leaves got that big...

if its not water droplets its probably a PH problem most tap water in united states has a PH of roughly 7.5-8.0 generally speaking just bring that down a tad you can get a PH kit from the aquarium section or pool section of walmart or wherever like 5 bucks if it rains near your house frequently get rainwater and use that for a while o and btw the leaves curling up is from a lack of Mg and generally to mist a plant it is best to mist it with a 1/4 strength fert. then come back the next day and mist again with regular ph prepared water.

yes those were the bottom leaves, that plant did wind up dying, my first time being a widower i was so heartbroken i started over, but first i autopsied the corpse and discovered all of my mistakes...there are alot so prepare to laugh...first it was soil from outside(yes i'm a newbie) the pot i used i let my friend taking care of putting in the drainage holes while i took care of other stuff and the dumb bastard cracked the pot on one side half way up and figured it would be sufficient to drain it all...so all the soil in the very bottom of the pot was mud at least two inches of it, so it wasn't draining well at all, and because it was outside soil there were multiple rocks in it, and the final nail in the coffin my same friend dropped a cfl on it and crushed and burned it while i was at work, so you chose the cause of death if that wasn't overkill...on the curious side, i did find 2 big fat worms in the soil, are they good or bad for the plant and it's roots?

and i do have a ph tester my soil is 6.8, ph isn't really a problem i have ph up and down and a ph kit so i tested everything, i have never misted my plants, i understand the benefits i just always felt it was risky because apparently it can leave residue on the leaves that can block light somehow...but i did want to try it
