Spray painting buckets, inside bad?

I was spray painting some 3 gallon buckets because my local hydro shop dosnt carry any, and i was wondering if spray painting on the inside of the bucket would be bad for dwc/hempy pot setup, could the chemicals leech and cause problems?

why would you spray he inside vs. the outside? derrr, but yeah sounds like a fucked up thing to do to your plants.

They probably would leak and cause problems and potential toxins. I wouldn't trust it unless you get a low-VOC paint designed for wet environments.

Well back to square one, only 15 bucks for more buckets.. oh well haha.. i painted the inside rim basically for aesthetics.. next time i wont do it.
