Sprayed Buds?

Ok, I keep getting buds that I thinked are dipped or sprayed with some type of chemicals. The buds are very dense and light colored. When you smoke a blunt the ash is really hard to knock off and will stay on the blunt for a long time, and when smoked in a bowl the buds sparkle. what could this be? and how bad is it to smoke? thanks

Man Im afraid to say that could be anything. I have heard of Sand, fiberglass, silicone, silica and numerous other things. All about guys trying to make more weight. The latest one is for weed to be brought in wet. I can only speak for ireland but id imagine the same is happening in other places. Needless to say its not very good for you at all. In fact there was reports about 6 months back of two guys in france who died and they attributed the deaths to smoking a load of that coated stuff. A friend of mine also has a bag of sand that he has collected out of his grinder and the is about a half oz of sand in it.

thats some shady stuff right there.:evil: fi had a uddy back in the day that used to transport lbs of shwag for his cousin, he would take out a bunch of weed and then spray the weed with matching weight of water:evil::spew: scandalous business these days...thats why everyone should grow their own, put these pricks out of business

only today i went for a few splifs with a mate and his tweed looked like it had been taken from a plant 3 or 4 days ago. it was so wet. Smoked okay though :blsmoke:

Not matter what dealer it is in ireland its all the same. Coming across some nice bud with nothing on it is very hard to come by. Hence growing my own. Just the intial process of getting it started is the hard part

I remember talking to a dealer a while back who sprayed antifreeze on his weed.

Best just to grow your own.

usually that crackling is from bud that was not flushed properly at the end. More than likely it was just grown using a lot of chemical fertilizers and they never flushed it leaving all of those chemicals in the bud. I'm not sure if water curing would work for sure, but it couldn't hurt, that's what I would do.

yeah i had this stuff before the ash was hard and the spliffs hardly burnt, so i just put less than the usual amout of weed in a spliff and it worked although afterwards my throat was fucked for a couple of days

horrible stuff

sounds to me like it could be pretty east to monopolize on that situation since you can grow....sell some decent shit and bam you're set :blsmoke:
