spraying mites close to harvest?

I don't have full infestation, but I do have some mites on 30% leaves, two different kinds. (round & clear with random black spots, longer ones that are whitish in color). I am 1-2 weeks from harvest. Trichomes are mostly milky. My questions;

1. Should I spray with neem this close to harvest? I know the taste will be affected so should I delay harvest until smell goes away? will the smell go away while drying/curing?

2. Neem full strength or diluted.? How much diluted.
3. Will this damage trichomes?
4. Should I trim fan leaves and spray buds instead?
Thank you for all your answers in advance.:peace:

I have the same shit with my girls, someone posted to try Alcohol and water 1 on 1 ,i have buds the size of half dollars and 6 " long and they said it would not hurt the buds and kill the Mites!!
Going to give it a try after the sun goes down.. Neem oil won't kill the eggs

Thanks for your response and the tip about the eggs, Thought neem was the cure all.
I'm gonna try alcohol on a few leaves as a test after sun is off plants and they cool down. see if it cooks them.

i open co2 tanks all the way open . make sure room closed and sealed . cuz co2 at 10,000 ppm can kill mites . go in open co2 leave the room . come back in 4 hours . mites be all over on soil :)

This is very dangerous. Co2 at 10,000ppm WILL kill you. Opening up a 20lb co2 tank without regulators will fly and hurt/kill someone. I have brought the room in my journal to 10,000 ppm for 4 hrs and nothing. I have had friends keep it at 10000 for longer and it retards your plants. Just a warning

if you're in US no pest strips are the best.. 100% success... and I have a small grow area near pets so only put in there 2-3 days a week..then wrap and keep in bag...

and if close to harvest 70%++ alc. mixed 50-50% with water makes good leaf stem spray...but only do 1-2 times.. (not buds)

I had a plant that was fully infested and killed most off with 1 spray...

in canada the no pest strips are at Reno depot/home hardware.
