sprung bags for hash

just wanted to let folks know i used the sprung bags for the first time this weekend. took the keif from 5 outdoor plants, probably 5 pounds or so, and ran it through the bags. pretty easy and we got 32 grams of hash. very nice stuff.

anyway the bags worked great. if anyone needs bags, i would highly recommend them for about 80 bucks, you cant go wrong.

High Jeff...I just bought the 20 gal. Sprung bags and am planning to use 5 or 6 lbs of colas from my yard..It was a very good year. The bags came with no instructions and I would hate to make ANY mistakes...Do you know where I can learn to pull my hippy crack.. Thanks from a cancer survivor who is now 62 years old and still kicking thanks to pot...

google bubble hash and you will find many sets of instructions.

one thing i would recomend is make sure you premix the water and weed before putting it in the bags. some of the instructions arent real clear on that and if you dont premix you will ruin the bags. basically you want a bucket full of finely blended water, ice, and weed. then just filter it through the screens. i went through 2 biggest screens and caught with the smallest. i can tell you the hash is fucking incredible. i guess it would get better if you used all the filters, but i cant imagine being more stoned than i am when i smoke this shit. awesome doesnt even begin to describe

for premixing we used a drill press and a 5 gallon bucket. ran it for about 30 min. then ran it through the filters. for 20 gal bags use a trash can and a paddle bit made for mixing drywall mud. 20 bucks at the local hardware.

i used to live in divide, behind pikes peak. small world.

also, i ran each batch through twice. i got a ping pong ball size chunk and on the second time about half that. another trick i learned by trial and error was heating it. what you want to do is while it is wet, flatten it out like a hershey candy bar un the screen they provide. use something to put weight on it to force all the water out. carefully unwrap and lay the bar somewhere to dry. when it is dry (a couple days) coat a piece of aluminum foil with some cooking oil, very lightly. wrap up the hash bar in the foil and use an iron ontop of a flat metal surface and samdwich the bar between the iron and the metal. the hask will turn brown and melt together very nicely.

it really is a thing of beauty. and be carefull. i only used the 2 biggest screen for filter and the smallest screen to catch. i smoked a little the other night and thought my face was falling off. it can be crippling

By the way the new hash presses like a couple I use really top things off nice..They smooth the taste and bring the oil forth,I was able to turn a lot of flowers into ounces of crystals, shaped into two sided beautiful coin like collectors items. Jeff, this stuff is the shit!!!I have never been so FEELING GOOD in my life!!!!It cures after you press it like pot and just keeps getting better. I wish I could learn the do's and dont's of PC world so I could pass on what I'm learning to others sick like me and wanting to laugh...=+=:>the Pharmicutical companies. u said u got 32 grams of hash out of 5 pounds of buds? Does that mean every 2.2 ounces of bud you got one gram of hash??

My math skills were never good, But My Old Man says, "you'll get about 2.2 grams per oz. from the 73 and 25 micron filters. glad you enjoy it and are successful with the bags. they work very good. everyone i share the hash with says the same thing, "wow"! very god shit.
