Squirel Fan Qs

So a buddy of mine has some squirel fans laying around from when he was growing so he asked if I wanted them so I said hell sure why not my question is do I have to run a ducting to make the fan work? Cause I was just thinking of just placing the fan next to an already made exhaust hole and just have it vent out that way.

The fan i believe is a 265 cfm fan
The room size is like 5 ft wide by 11 ft length and 6 ft in height

Dont know much about these fans so I was hoping those who have it can chime in here thanks in advance

ok i think you are talkin about a swirl cage fan not squirel and second yes you would nead ducting or sumthin like it... the fan will sit in middlt of grow area .. it will suck air out of room and blow thrue ducting outside this will remove heat from room... you can also hook up a can filter to get rid of any unwanted smell leaving your room

why couldnt i just sit it in the corner with the exhuast facing towards out the grow room and having the inlet just out free sucking?

I have a few of them so im just trying to figure out a non cluster packed way ya know

oooohhh ok i gots you know... i thought you was talkin about a diiffrent type..... with this yes you can just cut a whole and stick the rectagle end out of box... depending on lights size of box and size of fan 1 will be plenty!!!!! those are some of the most powerfull fans you can purchase.
